Delirium

"Will take your heart and rip it out in a way that will force you to continue until the very end"

Delirium is an action packed novel based on future society, basically a dystopian story. What makes this different is the fact that love is considered a disease. As soon as one reaches the age of eighteen, they have brain surgery performed on them. After they are so called "cured" they donít feel love or hate.

They are also matched with four people and are allowed to choose their mate from the four. It is basically a society without crime because there is no hate, but the opposing side of that is that no one cares for anyone. It is through the eyes of a seventeen year old girl named Lena. She is anxious and ready to be cured, or at least in the begging she is.

The book will take your heart and rip it out in a way that will force you to continue until the very end. Personally I thought it was beautifully written. I love Laurenís style of writing. She has a unique way of describing things that is so compelling. I also think the idea of the story is just brilliant. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys action and romance.
